GIBF President Dr. Jitendra Joshi present at Guyana National Day Celebrations

The Embassy of Guyana celebrated its National Day and the 60th anniversary of its independence alongside 60 years of India-Guyana diplomatic relations on August 4, 2026, in New Delhi. It was hosted by High Commissioner, H.E. Dharamkumar Seeraj and attended by Chief Guest Pabitra Margherita, India's Minister of State for External Affairs. Founder and Global President of Global India Business Forum (GIBF), Dr. Jitendra Joshi attended the event on special invitation for the celebration by the embassy. The GIBF promotes trade relations between India and Guyana and actively engages with various diplomatic missions in this regard.
