The Ministry of Commerce, Government of People's Republic of Bangladesh and Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) are jointly organizing a week long International Virtual Summit.

In past few years, Bangladesh has achieved Impressive achievements. Bangladesh was globally positioned has the development role model making 8% plus growth until the pre covid-19 time. Bangladesh is the naturally gateway between South Asia and southeast Asia with growing multi-modal connectivity. Despite covid-19 stress, Bangladesh has registered remarkable 5.47% GDP growth in FY2021 backed by strong economic fundamentals and resilience absorbing economic shock and became the third largest growth performing economy as per the IMF.
It is worth mentioning that H. E. Sheikh Hasina, hon'ble Prime Minister, Government of People's Republic of Bangladesh, will grace the Inaugural Ceremony of the Summit as the Chief Guest.

DCCI call on Dr. A. K. Abdul Momen, hon'ble minister, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, GoB and he has consented to join as Special Guest in the Inaugural Ceremony to grace the occasion.
This summit will deepen collaboration of Bangladesh and the traders and investors from 50 countries representing 5 regions such as America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Pacific exploring business opportunities in 9 sectors infrastructure (physical logistic and energy), IT/ITES & Fin-tech, leather goods, pharmaceuticals, jute & textile, FMCG and retail business. Approximately 160 B2B sessions are planned to be held at the summit.
